The Seganetmerc Virtual Device, a prototype Virtual Reality system developed by SEGA to test the feasibility of small-scale VR use in the mid 1990's. The technology would eventually be used in some arcade games in the early 2000's. According to the photo source, some of the technology was used in the development of NiGHTS.
