    Depends on the ammo, depends on the angle, depends on how many other objects the round traveled through before it reached the injured person or persons in question.

    Again, it would depend on what type of ammo was used, and what the shooter was firing through to strike the target in question- be it people or obstacles. The notion someone could survive such a thing is unlikely but not impossible. That article does, however, underscore the pretty common sense notion that the AR-15 and other semi-auto weapons should all really be recategorized under the NFA Title II to keep them out of the hands of all but the most serious gun enthusiasts (i.e., not maniacs).
