Nah, Alisson was right about ZippCast and how much it truly sucked. Jan had no reason.

VBF looks so much a poor attempt at trolling it ain't even funny. First of all... Jan. Seriously, guys, Jan. That's the best German name they could come up with, Jan.

Secondly, who is this guy? And why did we never hear of him before on VidBit? The owner worked alone, and if there was another party involved, I'm sure he would've told the users about it, specially if it was someone so important as another developer.

Third, if he is a mere staff member, I suppose he'd have no money to pay the bills, since the owner was apparently the one who sold out to ZippCast and made the domain redirect to theirs. This speaks "disaster."

Finally, there's no footage of "VBF" or whatever they wanna call it, just a poor excuse of a logo and empty promises of a new website. VidBit usually posted screenshots of everything they were working on on Twitter, this account posted nothing.

I won't be surprised if this guy is the same one who made all those ZippTube accounts on VidBit.

At this moment in time I think VBF seems legit. That may change however. It is only a matter of time as the beta testing is supposed to start soon. If that doesn't happen then it was phony. If it does then VBF is legit.

To echo Alisson's statements, MetaJolt in it's "original" configuration was projected to cost between $300-$600 a month in servers and systems. Though not impossible, I doubt very much there can be a video sharing site that features upload and playback that won't cost at least $300 a month, and though it sounds cheap, that is easier said than done.To echo Alisson's statements, MetaJolt in it's "original" configuration was projected to cost between $300-$600 a month in servers and systems. To clarify, I do not say that to rain on anyone's parade- I am merely concerned for their projects overall longevity, and would encourage others to be mindful of their possible limitations before "leaping" aboard. Beta testing will happen in Mid January, so I'll provide a screenshot once I get access to the site. Also, Jan actually had an account on VidBit (and it was just his name). You might be wrong on this one Al

If spiderfan's newest post is anything to go by, I was right about 2 out of 4 things.
